Transitions & Triumphs, Celebrating Coleman's 48th Anniversary Gala Sponsorships

On May 5th, Coleman will host our 48th-anniversary gala, Transitions & Triumphs. This special event will celebrate the transition of our outgoing leader, Neva Walker, and our incoming Co-Executive Directors, Chris Ballard and Christina (Pina) Cañaveral, as well as look back at our rich history. The evening will be filled with powerful performances, an interactive art exhibit, and a delectable spread of local fare.

Coleman Advocates for Children and Youth is the leading voice for low-income children and families in San Francisco and has established a national model for our pioneering brand of policy advocacy and grassroots organizing, with the leadership of Black and Brown parents and young people at the center. We’ve developed the leadership and skills of thousands of students and parents and won landmark school district reforms, city-wide ballot initiatives, and hundreds of millions of dollars dedicated to children’s services.
